Within Australia, Siemens is a leading provider of products, solutions and services in the industry, energy and healthcare sectors.
With its head office based in Germany much of their communications and product information are produced in German. Therefore this information needs to be translated for the target audience in various other countries.
When Siemens Transport Systems Australia needed a professional translation of 26 operations, maintenance and repair manuals for Bogies especially developed for application in Combino low floor trams, Siemens enlisted the services of Across Translation to handle the project.
The manuals needed to be translated from German into English for the Australian engineers who would be maintaining the trams.
