Editing is the thorough review of the translation against the source file. Editing is done by a second fully qualified translator with expertise in the subject area of the document. The editor will ensure the accuracy of the translation and fine tune the linguistic and cultural integrity of the document.
Proofreading is the final review of the translation. The translator will ensure the document is error-free and that your message flows as if it had been created in the target language.

When we provide you with a quotation we will also give you a time frame for completion. Of course, if you have a deadline then we will work to that. Generally speaking, most translators can turn around 2000 words per day. However, this is the average and the beginning of each project is usually a little slower as it requires more than just translation – e.g. administration, setting up of files, research, setting up the translation memory software for the project etc.
